IZZY AND THE BLACK TREES — SHORT BIO

Izzy and the Black Trees are a post-punk / noise-rock band from Poznań, Poland, led by vocalist and songwriter Izabela “Izzy” Rekowska. Since forming in 2018, the band have built a reputation for raw, fuzz-drenched songs and intense live shows, earning support from BBC 6 Music, KEXP, NME, Dork, RTE 2FM and Radio X. They have appeared at ESNS, OFF Festival, Liverpool Sound City, Westway LAB and Sharpe, and have opened for Fontaines D.C. and Garbage in Poland. Their third album, Kisses to Chaos, released in February 2026, channels tension, rebellion and the strange beauty of disorder into the band’s most focused and visceral record yet.
